AUSTIN, Texas -- An early upset alert took place in Austin until Longhorn defender Josh Turner was able to make an outstanding one-handed interception with a 39-yard return deep into Tulsa territory to start off the second half.
With the score tied at 10-10, a Garrett Gilbert led Longhorn offense was able to capitalize with a touchdown. Garrett was able to have a combined total of 194 yards and 2 TDs. Texas later added a field goal that proved to be the difference.
The Longhorns will face the winner of #8 Arkansas and #57 Louisville in the second round.
